Libraries and Cultural Resources (formerly Information Resources) of the University of Calgary invites applications for the position of Director of the Nursing Library at the University of Calgary – Qatar. This is a full-time, contingent term academic position for a five-year period, with an anticipated start date of June 1, 2007, and with the possibility of extension. It is expected that the successful candidate will work in Qatar for a minimum of two years.The University of Calgary is about to open its first overseas campus. With generous financial support from the State of Qatar, the University of Calgary Faculty of Nursing – Qatar will begin to deliver a baccalaureate nursing program in the fall of 2007. Master’s and doctoral programs will be phased in, as well as specialty nursing programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and adaptable individual open to learning and experiencing new cultures, with a commitment to international post-secondary education. …
