This year, to combat this so-called “summer slide”, Alexander used her financial award from winning Teacher of the Year to purchase the One Minute Reader program for 25 young students.”We are hoping to see they were able to maintain their skills during the summer,” Alexander told the Ludington Daily News. “The more stories they completed, the better chance of beginning this year at the same level they left with last year.”[...] Read more!
