DIRECTOR, HEALTH SCIENCES LIBRARY& ARCHIVES, RESEARCH & PERFORMANCE SUPPORT , Regina, SaskatchewanThe Director of the Health Sciences Library & Archives is accountable for the provision of library and information services to all employees and physicians in the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region and for the administrative management of the Health Sciences Library & Archives. The Director provides leadership in focusing service initiatives to provide employees and physicians with the information resources and the information literacy skills required to support the strategic objectives of the Region.As the successful candidate you will have an ALA accredited Masters in Library Science and a minimum of five years progressively more responsible library experience. Experience in a Health Sciences setting is desirable. You will have a strong understanding of library principlesand practices and demonstrated skill in evaluating outcomes. You will be highly skilled and knowledgeable in electronic information resources and retrieval and be current in library trends and technologies.
